Globtel is proud to announce that it tested and implemented a Full HD video stream in MPEG4 compression for the customer ARIO from Slovenia.Till now Globtel already implemented HDTV in MPEG2 compression. With this implementation Globtel is in lead of providing terrestrial Full HD format broadcasting solutions with the AIR system. This new functionality enables operators to broadcast the TV signal in MPEG4 compression or to broadcast Full HD signals. Another benefit of this functionality is also smaller usage of frequency spectrum based on the fact of H.264/ MPEG4 compression possibilities.
