Commercial deployment ARIO

The AIR system is successfully being commercially implemented by the Slovenian ISP ARIO with 2000 satisfied customers and more to follow till end of year 2010 approximately 5000.
- ARIO decided to roll-out the AIR network first in Maribor other areas were deployed in beginning 2009
- the current network consists of one main station and three base station, covering 85% of the Maribor population of 250,000 citizens and other surrounding areas from Maribor to Celje with an average radius of 25 km
- 2000 satisfied customers till end of 2010 5000 planned
- ARIO is continually recording the user experience and is receiving positive feedback:
- no complaints about the IP or TV quality
- more than 4000 additional households are waiting for connection only based on word-of-mouth propaganda
- ARIO plans to extend the network infrastructure and launch full AIR Triple Play in other areas of Slovenia, ARIO expects to serve over 20,000 subscribers within first three years of operations
