  • started in 1995 as an international ISP, operating under the brand AMIS in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania
  • biggest alternative telecommunication service provider in Slovenia and Croatia (Internet and Telephony) with 150+ total employees
  • named the 8.th fastest growing technology company in central Europe in 2003 (Deloitte&Touche)
  • biggest privately owned backbone infrastructure in Slovenia and Croatia
  • utilizing 3.rd party last mile solutions (CATV, Telekom)

Year 2003:

  • Q1 extension of the R&D departement (RF, IP, Coding...)
  • Q1 started to research and develop an own bidirectional wireless last mile solution "AIR"

Year 2004:

  • Q1 first own digital CATV head-end unit established (DVB + IP)
  • 2 project AIR evolved to a fully operational triple play telecommunication system, combining the digital head-end and wireless last mile solution

Year 2005:

  • Q1 started to research and develop a security application for the alarm transsmition and control of protected buildings over the internet "IP_AC"
  • Q2 first wireless triple play system deployed
  • Q3 digital head-end evolved from DVB-S to DVB-T
  • Q4 within the ISP a new company, Globtel, was created, focusing on

Year 2006:

  • Q2 separation from the ISP part
  • Q2 started to research and develop a system for electricity distributors, which enables remote reading of electricity consumption counters over the RF network

  • 30+ employees
  • 70% R&D with 15+ years of experience
  • 30% sales, marketing and other services
