- started in 1995 as an international ISP, operating under the brand AMIS in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania
- biggest alternative telecommunication service provider in Slovenia and Croatia (Internet and Telephony) with 150+ total employees
- named the 8.th fastest growing technology company in central Europe in 2003 (Deloitte&Touche)
- biggest privately owned backbone infrastructure in Slovenia and Croatia
- utilizing 3.rd party last mile solutions (CATV, Telekom)
Year 2003:
- Q1 extension of the R&D departement (RF, IP, Coding...)
- Q1 started to research and develop an own bidirectional wireless last mile solution "AIR"
Year 2004:
- Q1 first own digital CATV head-end unit established (DVB + IP)
- 2 project AIR evolved to a fully operational triple play telecommunication system, combining the digital head-end and wireless last mile solution
Year 2005:
- Q1 started to research and develop a security application for the alarm transsmition and control of protected buildings over the internet "IP_AC"
- Q2 first wireless triple play system deployed
- Q3 digital head-end evolved from DVB-S to DVB-T
- Q4 within the ISP a new company, Globtel, was created, focusing on
Year 2006:
- Q2 separation from the ISP part
- Q2 started to research and develop a system for electricity distributors, which enables remote reading of electricity consumption counters over the RF network
